Specialized Medical Care for:
Eating Disorders

Navigating an eating disorder is overwhelming for patients and for families. You're not just managing symptoms, but you're facing a life-threatening condition that can impact every part of the body. Eating disorders have among the highest mortality rates of any mental health condition. Without timely, informed care, they can lead to serious, sometimes irreversible medical complications.

Families often tell me they feel lost. They struggle to find a physician who truly understands eating disorders or can confidently guide them through a frightening and uncertain time. Many end up searching online for answers, second-guessing every step, and feeling too scared to focus on recovery.

Unfortunately, this isn’t surprising. Most physicians receive little to no training in eating disorder care, and many healthcare systems simply aren’t built to support the complexity of these illnesses.

That’s where I come in.

I am a board-certified adolescent medicine subspecialist, completing a three year fellowship specializing in eating disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  I provide the expert medical care and calm, consistent support that families deserve.

Here’s what that looks like:

  • Thorough evaluation and medical management of eating disorder complications and treatment

  • Clear, compassionate partnership with parents so you feel informed, included and empowered

  • Referrals to trusted team members, because eating disorder recovery requires collaborative care

  • Individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient and family’s unique story

  • Time and attention because these conditions deserve nothing less

  • Ongoing coordination with your full treatment team to ensure safety, stability, and support

My patients of all genders and body sizes, ages 6 to 30, benefit from a care model that prioritizes both medical excellence and human connection. While you focus on healing and recovery, I focus on the medical care that makes that possible.

And here's the hopeful part: eating disorders are treatable.

Seeking help is the first step and you're already taking it.
